FOUNDATIONS TO CROSSFIT
TNT would like to invite everyone who has always been interested in doing CrossFit, losing weight, toning, strengthening or what ever your fitness goals may be, to join our family today! This foundations course is that perfect fit that consists of a beginning, middle and an end to your fitness goals!
You will be with others who are in the same position you are in, learning three foundations skills in each session. You will come out of this course with knowledge, programming and understanding of how CrossFit will literally change your life! After you graduate from our 10 sessions, three times a week, you can train as often as you would like in any of our group CrossFit classes. Here are just some of the skills and exercises you will get to learn:
#1: Stretching and Nutrition. We will take your measurements and go over proper nutrition and set you up on a program designed for you. You will learn many ways to stretch and the importance of it.
#2: Learning the Gymnastics side of CrossFit and how each exercise can be modified. We will go over form, foundation and technique on Pull-ups, air squats, push-ups, rings, lunges, handstand push-ups, box jumps and more.
#3: Learn Metabolic Conditioning and how to make it fun! Running, biking, rowing, swimming (optional), jump roping double unders and burpees!
#4: Olympic Lifting and weight training. TNT will teach you the correct form and technique of each weight lifting move to make it easy for you learn. Dead-lifts, cleans, presses, snatches, clean and jerk, medicine ball drills kettle bell swings, dumbbells, sandbag drills, tire flipping and more.
#5: Programing of WODS (work out of the day) . We will go over all of the different ways to program gymnastics, metabolic conditioning and O lifting/weight training together in a work out. It will blow your mind on how to you will never do the same work out twice!
